Note on an above comment: there is a specific code related to the seatbelt tensioner. ![]() If it was not a loose connection, then I understand it is likely the clock spring behind the wheel. I just did this exact same thing last weekend and was successful too. I had the same code pop up a few weeks ago that would not go away. After driving around today, still no SRS light. I then used my Peake scanner, and this time it cleared the SRS light. I disconnected the battery, removed the steering wheel airbag, removed all the wire connections, and cleaned them with electrical parts cleaner. I figured I'd try the cheapest option first.
